The name AKBAN corresponds to the Arabic عقبان (ʿuqbān), meaning 'eagles' or 'hawks' (plural of عقاب ʿuqāb). In Hebrew, with the same pronunciation: עַקָּב (akav). The birds symbolize long distance vision and mastery in a hostile environment. We take it, exploring old skills while fearlessly researching new methods and martial knowledge.
