Yossi Sheriff (יוסי שריף) is the visionary founder of AKBAN its specialized approach to Conflict Management and Emotional Regulation. Currently holding a Level 7 in AKBAN Ninjutsu, Yossi has dedicated over three decades to not only teaching martial arts but also to the personal and professional development of his students, many of whom have established global companies, launched successful startups, and run their own dojos. Anchored in a pragmatic approach to martial arts research, Yossi has developed an expansive digital ecosystem on akban.org. This ecosystem features continuously evolving databases on Ninjutsu techniques, AKBAN Methodology, and a rigorously tested fitness program. Leveraging AI and Language Models like LLM, Yossi continually refines and enhances the quality of the data he documents. His content has garnered over 100 million views across multiple platforms and boasts a subscriber base of nearly 60,000. In 1985, following his military service as a Combat Paramedic, Yossi received a presidential honor for his groundbreaking work in reorganizing and enhancing the logistics network for evacuation in the Israeli Medical Corps. Yossi began his journey in martial arts in 1986 as a student of Doron Navon in Bujinkan. He achieved his Bujinkan 5th Dan under Hatsumi sensei in 1991. Since 2014, he has been instructing top IDF officers, Hazmat crews, and ER teams in de-escalation and emotional regulation techniques.
