Zen

Zen (禅), (זן), is a school of thought in the Mahayana Buddhism. Zen is a Japanese term that - translated from Pali, Sanskrit (ध्यान) and Chinese (禪) - means meditation. Zen emphasizes Practice of contemplation, training and effort to make real the goals of The Mahayana school in Buddhism. Zen is built on, but is not limited to, theoretical and philosophical Buddhist knowledge. Zen relates to Martial arts with it's practicality and awareness emphasize.

Several Zen techniques have been integrated into daily Martial arts practice, these include Zan shin, Mondo and Zazen.
