Intermediate level of expertise is a level of technical execution in martial arts in general and Ninjutsu in particular, at which a combination or a sequence of movements is needed.

The level that precedes the intermediate, the beginner level, includes the abilities to perform simple techniques. The intermediate level advances into intricate and physically challenging sequences and individual techniques that prepare for the highest level of expertise - the advanced level.

Intermediate level of expertise is an attribute of the meta perspective - level of expertise, one of the terms in the AKBAN methodical system, the methodical pyramid.
