Thursday in Tel Aviv dojo – Moving to the new dojo

UPDATE: October the 25th, We’re back at 294 Hayarkon St. 

 

 

Today, Elad and I moved all the dojo staff, mattresses included, to the new Tel Aviv dojo at Ben Yehuda 193. The dojo is at the 1st floor of the Hativat benaim.

Wednesday in Jerusalem Dojo – Kicks and locks

At the first training session, starting at 18:30, we will append Kicks to the sabaki work we did at the previous lesson. We will finish with an important Ninjutsu throw, Tai otoshi.

At the second, veteran, session we will work with two Joint-lock throws: Te Makura and Seoe and finish the lesson with stick fighting.

Sunday in Jerusalem dojo – Using distancing for attack

We start the session today at 18:00 with the basic kata routine and then the Himum. After doing break-falls we are going to start exploring Naname Mae and Naname Ushiro sabaki.
We will analyse Kukishin ryu kata that use these directions both for evasion and for attack.

Thursday in Tel Aviv dojo – Seoe nage and Yoko sabaki

We are starting today in 18:00 at the Tel Aviv dojo. Moving over from attacks using the Yoko Tai sabaki we will repeat some Seoe throws from last year’s syllabus and conclude with Uchi komi of Seoe Nage.

Attached is Yoko sabaki using the Short Ninjutsu chain, the Kusari fundo.
