Keith and I are working on an update to the site that will make mobile browsing better and get rid of several bugs we discovered. This will probably take few weeks. Meanwhile I still enjoyed finding the time to write and update several articles, mainly in Koto ryu. Here they are:
At the first training session we will learn three Ninjutsu locks and continue drilling the kicks and punches combos while retreating.
At the second veterans’ session we will integrate Koto ryu shoden level Kata into Randori practice.
At the first training session we will work with punches and Ninjutsu elbows using the first timing of retreating and punching.
At the second training session we will start with 3 shoulder locks and then practice Hanbo strikes.
We will devote most of the training session to retreating kick and punch combos derived from Ninjutsu Koto ryu kata. Later we will apply Ninjutsu hand locks against a grappling situation.

Today we will use short range Ninjutsu strikes against opponent closing distance and grabbing. We will use throws and armlocks to defend against certain holds.

This has been a busy week with many updates to the AKBAN martial arts documentation project. Here’s a concise list of the English AKBAN-wiki changes. If you’re addicted to wiki code, the wiki rss can be grabbed here.
At both sessions, beginners and veterans, we will practice Koku no kata with timing against a jab. Later we will train with three Ninjutsu techniques against a full neck clinch.
