Four teams meet on the way to the AKBAN Desert gathering

On foot, old style map and compass, no GPS, carrying food and water, in small 3-2 person teams, we navigate the desert for several days walking toward the annual AKBAN Desert gathering. When we gather we train, spar and after a night's sleep we go on separate routes before sunrise.
