Background
This kick is meant to be used against multiple opponents and hits an opponent coming from the side of the user of the technique. The kick is very similar to the push kick in that it is very powerful and even an opponent who blocks it will probably be pushed back. That is the purpose of the kick- to keep its user from having to deal with multiple opponents at once. This technique is directed at the torso.
Description of the side push kick
While looking forward raise the knee of the same side in which an opponent is approaching- and release the kick pushing the pelvis forward- towards the opponent- hitting him with the heel.
