We are thinking that putting the images on utube is not the best, there has to be some redundancy. tomorrow we will try to link flash from a huge Israeli server we have at our disposal.
Double categories in BJJ and elsewhere
I think that thaere is no problem that a technique will belong to two different category trees at the same time. So a sweep will belong to the category tree "BJJ by goal" and also will nestle in the category tree that AMIR suggested "Bjj Techniques/Ne waza/position/cange your position"
As I see the categories they are virtual places to put techniques in as we or others upload them. Because there is no phisical presence to the virtual technique it can go to many "cubicles" at the same time helping the reverse process, the one much less obvious, of searching the technique to be multipath one.
Categories
I agree, we can have several different categorization systems, and several classifications, one classification does not disturb the other. I think now that we have a basic category system, we need to populate it (starting with the basics). Once we have substantial content of techniques we can return to the categorization foundation and possibly refine and improve it based on actual needs. --Ittai 08:31, 8 December 2006 (CST)
I am going to mend the Ninjutsu categories later and erase the
Current ones. Once we are through with the structure i have many techniques waiting to be linked from youtube.
About the ju jitsu and wrestling i think your word is better than mine here. Can't you talk these lazies into actually bringing a camera next two Sundays and finishing with the bloody $@#@*! basic BJJ?
