Talk:Juji gatame
From AKBAN-wiki, the Martial Arts Database
The history channel version would probably work on a very drunk individual, but why you'd want to be on the ground around drunks when you could just run away is beyond me. Finnegan 09:33, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Feel free to add a better video, however with this video at least one can realize what technique is meant by "juji gatame". I'll add the tag "better video is needed" if i can figure out how. Ravain 09:44, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- I think you could just take the video from the juji gatame from mount page for the moment and then replace it with something better when possible. Finnegan 11:49, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thought about it, but then you should probably redirect to Juji gatame - Arm bar - from mount directly because there is also some descriptive text there, but what about the grade stuff then? So i decided to just put the image from wikipedia there and while at it also copied the text. Ravain 15:42, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

adding templates
this is the "video is missing" template:
and this is "needs a better video" template:
Open this talk in edit view and copy the templates with the strange brackets { to the page you're writing. When you save you'll see the whole template box.
Just add water :) Yossi
- I already found the template in some other article and copied it, thanks though. Ravain 11:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Importing images from wikipedia
I think that even if our wiki shares Creative Commons copyright, we should refrain from using Wikipedia's images. I removed the image link, but it is worth talking about. - what do you think?Yossi 05:23, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
- Everything you find on Wikipedia is free to use for everyone, so if it helps the article here, i dont see a reason not to use a resource found on wikipedia. Don't be afraid akban-wiki will become a copy of wikipedia as the videos here and the how-to descriptions (which aren't allowed on wikipedia) make it unique. Ravain 15:54, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- You're probably right, and we are being over cautious. Yossi 19:52, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
