It's important to be serious in training and to show intent. That first video is absolutely aweful!

If you punch. Punch to hit. I'm not saying you actualy have to HIT the tori, but it's important to be a good uke. The punch you throw is ... rediculous. I don't even see why tori bothers to block it at all.

Seriously .. what are you aiming for? The air 40 cm above his shoulder?

What we see at the Kata:

After being grabbed, tori blocks the opponents attack. You are right, the uke attackes too high. We'll probably have to retake this video soon. If you have a better performance of this technique (that you have copyrights for...) feel free to embed your technique instead of the one you see. This project is about improving our knowledge through more accurate techniques, not about who does it. Thanks. Yossi
