Description of the kata
- In the second kata, the swordsman is seated in the formal seiza position. The opponent is behind.
- The swordsman rises and turns by lifting the left knee while drawing the sword and cutting horizontally. While rising, the feet remain together.
- The swordsman Advances and cuts downwards as in first kata (mae) but now the left foot leads.
- The swordsman performs blood shaking chiburi, does ashi sabaki step and sheaths the sword (noto) as the first kata but with reversed feet.
