In the eleventh seitei gata the swordsman walks forward as he encounters one or more opponents in front.

  1. The swordsman draws the sword in a block (uke nagashi) while sliding a bit to the back.
  2. The swordsman then cuts the opponents left temple to right chin (yoko man) and slides forward keeping the right leg in front (okuri ashi).
  3. The swordsman cuts the right shoulder to solar plexus and slides forward keeping the right leg in front.
  4. The swordsman cuts the opponents left underarm to the center of abdomen and slides forward keeping the right leg in front.
  5. The swordsman cuts horizontally from the opponents left waist line to the opponents right waist line and slides forward keeping the right leg in front.
  6. The swordsman finishes with an overhead cut to the front.
  7. The swordsman shakes the blood of the blade to the side (yoko chiburi) and sheathes the sword (noto).
