Background
This technique is very powerful and can be the beginning of a full attack with the knees. Hitting the top of the skull can be devastating.
Description of the technique
Uke is jumping toward tori's head with his elbow. It is important to jump high as this contributed to the force of the elbow. The elbow gains a lot of power from the jump as the torso twists in mid air. This technique utilizes the element of surprise and works well in combination with other strikes.
