Koryu

Koryu is a Japanese language term that refers to martial arts that were created in Japan before the Meiji restoration (the end of the 19th century). The martial arts systems that were created after that period are collectively known as Gendai budo, and they include Judo, Iaido, and karate. The Akban-wiki has at its core the effort to document these koryu as well as all other martial arts. We already have partial documentation, and videos of the techniques of these koryu:
