Reverse cross choke, or Gyaku juji jime is a choke on the trachea and carotids performed in ground fighting and done with the help of the opponent's gi. This choke is done from the guard position. This choke is a part of the syllabus of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Budo Ninjutsu.
