Budo Ninjutsu blocs are done using the hands and legs. The characteristics of the Budo Ninjutsu blocs are at least twofold:

  1. Using the block to verify the trajectory, speed and location of the opponents' limb.
  2. Using the block to inflict harm on the attacking limb.

Blocks are used sometime to deflect the attack, but this is the exception, not the rule. Below are images of common Ninjutsu / Budo Taijutsu blocks and links to AKBAN-wiki pages with the actual blocks in video.
