Boby no kamae is a posture of vigilance and preparation. In this posture the front leg is slightly bent, the back leg is bent at the knee too, weight distribution is almost equal. The front extended arm is keeping distance from the enemy. The rear hand is laying on the waist as a closed fist, both hands are ready to block and attack.
