Description of Kimura - Ude garame - from the guard

  1. The trigger: your opponent post his hand on the mat.
  2. The setup: Break guard and post your right leg on the mat. Using the right leg as base turn on your left side, grab his right hand with your left hand, then crunch and grab your left arm with your right hand. Using you right right leg as base, push your body sideways. Pull closed guard again, this time with your body slightly to the side of his body.
  3. The lock: while keeping a closed guard, twist your body to your right and bring his hand towards his shoulder.
