Planned Ninjutsu session, AKBAN Ramat Hasharon – 1.7.2013

With the knowledge gained from practicing the Kukishinden sabaki level kata last week, we will add more variation to our combos based on the first timing.
We will conclude with uchi komi of Harai goshi into osoto gake.

The session will start with Ninjutsu kamae followed by the himum. We finish the session with full contact Randori.

Today is the last dojo hall meeting before we move on to our regular summer outside dojo.

At the training session today we will work with uchi komi of hand throws (te waza) and also take a deeper look at the timings and possibilities of Chikusei kata.

The session will conclude with combos integrating the 4 kicks we learned lately.

We will go over the skills acquired so far during the sessions: mudra, stance, breathing seperations, pelvic stepping, muscular efforts in harmonium and rhythm and add to these seperation of efforts and ambidextrous movement.

Niradin is a deep movement system that enhances the combat perspective of the Ninjutsu in AKBAN. We practice every Friday at Gan Ha-Atzmaut hill, on the northern side, above the sea shore. These sessions are opened to all AKBAN members.

We are continuing the advanced work of the first battle timing with Chikusei, one of the Kukishinden katas. We will add a variation of Shizen kata, a Fudo ryu technique, to the same research and conclude the session with the same timing as it apears in Ki gata of Koto ryu and then fast combo practice.

The sessions will start with kamae followed by the himum. The session ends with Randori.

Our dojo has moved up for the summer. We will be training at the third floor of the school’s building because of the renovations of our dojo.

We are using chikusei kata to learn inside Jodan Yuke distancing and kuzushi. In the both sessions we will repeat Kusari fundo techniques and lengthen the time we do fitness combos.

At the second, veterans’ session we will quickly go over the material from the first session and then we will work with one kata and perform kata analysis.

Using the kicks we trained with on our last session we will open up opportunities for throws and arm locks. We will also use the opponent‘s hand to control daken and apply kuzushi.
