We will work our way through as many Ninjutsu punching drills and kick combos as we can. Hard work today.
At the first training session we will hone our technique toward the yellow belt exams.
At the veteran session we will repeat Koto ryu kata previously leaned and start discovering the kuzushi in some Kukishin kata.
At the first session we will repeat the techniques for yellow belt. At the second session we will learn one more kata in long stick and repeat the short stick blocks we learned.
Today we will start exploring the kata in Kukishinden ryu that deal with direction change.
Working with the Kusari fundo, we will practice sabaki in striking distance. In the close grappling range we will do a neck throw, a ganseki and a seoe with the chain.
We will start with repeating the grappling combos we learned this week. At the second part we will use the basic strikes of the Ninjutsu chain to work on distancing in randori.
At both training sessions, with varying degrees of difficulty, we will learn Koto ryu sabaki and Kusari fundo, the Short Ninjutsu chain, in close combat.
We will use three distancing and timing strategies from Koto ryu to make our sparring syllabus better. At the same session we will repeat kicking combinations.
At the second, veteran session, we will memorize the Long rokushakubō katas we learned last week and start exploring the Kusari fundo at grappling range.
Today we will explore some more of the throws that were used by us last week against stand up grappling situations. At the second part of the lesson we will repeat some more Kick-punch combos that have been our staple for the last few months.
Building on the grappling techniques we learned last week, we are going deeper into Ninjutsu throws in grappling situations.
