A new study published in Archives of internal medicine looked at 2400 twins, and compared the effects of exercise in the cellular level. Those people that were doing exercise had younger cellular components.
It's just another incentive to use our fitness program. It's free.

Five more martial arts technique from the koryu school of Koto ryu have been added to the martial arts database. We expect several more years of repeating and improving before the conclusion of the Bujinkan curriculum in the Akban-wiki.
As for documenting other martial arts like Karate and various Kong fu schools that interest us, we think that this will be a decades long project.
New Koto ryu kata in video:
1. Hoteki no kata
2. Keto no kata
3. Hosoku no kata
4. Saku geki no kata
5. Shato no kata

We are experiencing some problems in the registration system. As the Bifugi IT department is having a scheduled vacation, it might take us hours to sort this one out.
Sorry.
Meanwhile you can enjoy the information we have here for you - our martial arts friend.
Jason, thanks for being the first to report this bug.

The guys in Bifugi, headed by Keith Harris, worked day and night to finish Vadim Gilead's vision for the new Akban martial arts journal.
Gaby Frishlander from niradin did the final graphics and design. Kodos guys.

We haven't been writing for the journal in the last weeks because of the wiki work.
But we'll be right back...

We have started another massive documenting effort of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The first fruits of this effort have been getting positive reactions from viewers and we are now ready for some more advanced techniques, all the time correcting and retaking those techniques that need a better version.
Those BJJ ground fighting techniques that have been uploaded are here:
1. Counter for double hand pass guard defence
2. Cutting arm bar from sitting guard
3. Over arm under leg sweep from open guard
4. Loop choke from sitting guard
5. Taking the back from sitting guard
6. Taking the back from De la Riva guard
7. Taking the back from sitting
If you are logged in it means you can write and edit in the wiki. You might try describing the techniques...

Most of these kata are not politically correct, sorry, you initiate the attack before the enemy:
1. Kako no kata
2. Hida No kata
3. Hicho no kata - Koto ryu
4. Kompi no kata
5. Koto no kata, first version
If you are logged in you can help this effort and edit out inaccuracies, describe the technique better or even dare a bit and put your own, better version of the technique.

Koto Ryu fighting school is one of the main systems practiced in Akban martial art organization.
Koto Ryu is characterized by very aggressive techniques developed 500 years ago in Japan.
We added five new katas:
1. Yokuto no kata
2. Ura nami no kata - Koto ryu
3. Ten chi no kata
4. O Gyaku
5. Batsugi no kata

The combat savvy and experienced community of AKBAN has opened up its videos and knowledge for all martial arts styles, Ninjutsu and Budo Taijutsu included.

Martial arts techniques, hundreds of throws, kicks and punches plus weapon kata are arranged in an easy order, for you to learn and be a better fighter.

Effective and accurate training in martial arts is our goal. Even though we think it is not recommended to learn online exclusively, our immense, free, AKBAN-wiki can add to your practice and give better, more effective skills in self defense and martial arts.

Training in Ninjutsu and other martial arts styles for many years has taught us this secret Ninja lore, we know: "There is no substitute for a qualified teacher and a Dojo." And we know this too: "Only by continually learning, practicing and exchanging we can be better human beings, better warriors."

Use this as a reference to gauge your own performance, or simply take a look at the foundations of a style different from your own.

Care to join and tour with us? You are most welcomed, our friend in martial arts.
